A student of the stock market since 13 years of age when I watched my father Sri. N Shankar jot down stock prices from the newspaper in his trusty old books, would tirelessly make trips to a broker in Manipal Centre in (then) Bangalore on his Bajaj Super scooter to apply for IPOs (for himself and innumerable others), repeat the trip to sell a stock that he may have wanted to exit from and not knowing any status for weeks on end.

I have been privileged to have watched the highs and lows of the stock markets and its impact on lives from a very young age. I have seen it help my father build his house and also seen the difficult times when things did not roll our way; including debenture papers not being delivered resulting in the part payments not getting through and us losing the ability to have those shares allotted to us - some of those debentures and bonds that we still have to this day.

Starting my initial understanding of the Capital Markets in my first job - the then world leader in Financial Data & News - Reuters (Later Thomson Reuters), the exposure it gave me and my various roles in the organization - from data, onboarding new exchanges to be covered, technology & architecture along with customer interactions gave me an overview of the myriad of opportunities & instruments in the Stock Markets.

Thankful to having many a senior corporate level experience in startups to FMCG organization, I am grateful to everyone who has been a part of my education and been by my side through good days and bad. Having a good, rich experience in investing & trading, being through the grind on both the ups and the downs, I ensure that I arrive at my research & recommendations after an astute study of a combination of Fundamental Analysis and the varied, unique Technical Analysis that I have been thankful to have learnt over the years.These include but are not limited to to Neo & Elliot Waves, Bollinger Bands, Price Action, Volume Profiling, Ichimoku, RSI, ATR and others in combination with each other as per the prevailing market conditions.

A keen student of markets, I am an astute believer in studying not just the spot but actual behavior of derivative prices and responses which adds to an advantage not enjoyed under traditional setups.

I am a strong proponent of ensuring Financial stability during trading & encourage a healthy dose of sports, pursuit of interests, promotion of a cultural Indian identity & interacting with citizens from various walks of life.
