1. General terms of service

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of research services provided by S Harish Chandan (hereinafter referred to as "Research Analyst" or "RA"), operating from Bengaluru, Karnataka. By accessing our website (raharishchandan.com), subscribing to, or availing of any research reports, recommendations, or analytical content, the client ("Client" or "Subscriber") agrees to be bound by these terms, conditions, and regulatory mandates.

2. Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC)

In compliance with SEBI and RAASB guidelines, the Most Important Terms and Conditions governing the research services are detailed below.

  • Scope and trade execution: These terms and conditions, and consent thereon, are strictly for the research services provided by the RA. The RA cannot execute or carry out any trade (purchase or sell transaction) on behalf of the client. Clients are strictly advised not to permit the RA or its representatives to execute trades in their trading accounts.
  • Fee structure and limits: The fee charged by the RA to individual and HUF clients is subject to the maximum limit prescribed by SEBI and RAASB from time to time. The current fee limit is Rs. 1,51,000 per annum per family of client for all research services. The fee limit excludes applicable statutory charges such as GST and exchange or regulatory levies. Fee limits do not apply to non-individual clients or accredited investors as per regulatory exemptions.
  • Advance fees: The RA may charge fees in advance if agreed upon by the client, subject to a maximum period stipulated by SEBI, presently capped at one year.
  • Mode of payment: All fee payments must be made strictly through authorised banking channels (such as official payment gateways, bank transfers, NEFT or RTGS, or the official UPI handle harish.ra@validhdfc) linked to the official business account of the Research Analyst. Cash payments are strictly prohibited.
  • Conflicts of interest: The RA abides by applicable regulations, circulars, and directions issued by SEBI and RAASB regarding the disclosure and mitigation of actual or potential conflicts of interest. The RA will endeavour to inform clients promptly of any material conflict affecting the rendered services.
  • Prohibition of guaranteed returns: Any assured, guaranteed, or fixed return schemes, or schemes promising assured profits, are strictly prohibited by law. No such schemes are offered by the RA.
  • No assurance of returns: The RA cannot guarantee returns, profits, accuracy, or risk-free investments. All opinions, projections, and estimates are formulated based on analysis of available data under specific assumptions as of the date of publication.
  • Market risks and client reliance: Any investment made based on recommendations in research reports is subject to market risks. Recommendations do not provide any assurance of returns, and there is no regulatory recourse to claim losses incurred based on research recommendations. Reliance on research content shall be based entirely on the client's own independent judgement.
  • Certifications and registration disclaimer: SEBI registration (INH000012768), RAASB enlistment, and NISM certifications are professional qualifications that do not guarantee future performance or asset safety.
  • Client contact information: Clients are mandated to keep their contact details, including registered email ID and mobile number, updated with the RA at all times.
  • Confidentiality and credentials: The RA will never ask for client trading account passwords, Demat account details, banking credentials, or OTPs. Clients must never share sensitive login credentials with anyone.

3. Refund and cancellation policy

S Harish Chandan (SEBI Registered Research Analyst, Registration No. INH000012768) operates in strict adherence to the guidelines, regulations, and circulars issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) governing Research Analysts. Because our services involve the delivery of proprietary intellectual property, analytical research reports, and real-time financial market insights, we maintain a clear and transparent Refund and Cancellation Policy.

3.1 General policy overview

Due to the digital nature of our deliverables, including downloadable research reports, strategic recommendations, analytical commentaries, and data-driven insights, all sales and subscription purchases are final. Once a subscription is activated, or a research report or advisory service is delivered or made accessible, it cannot be returned, cancelled, or refunded under any circumstances.

3.2 News, daily updates, and short-term alerts

Fees paid for daily market updates, pre-market and post-market snapshots, news summaries, flash alerts, and real-time analytical feeds are non-refundable and non-cancellable from the moment of purchase or subscription activation. Subscribers acknowledge that market information and news updates are time-sensitive digital commodities. Consequently, cancellation requests or refunds for ongoing daily update plans will not be entertained.

3.3 Research reports and recommendations

Services pertaining to long-term equity research, thematic reports, and structural recommendations are provided after detailed analysis and due diligence. As research opinions and strategic reports are intellectual property that cannot be recalled once accessed or dispatched, no refunds will be issued once the report has been shared or made available to the client.

3.4 Fee payment compliance

In accordance with SEBI regulations, all payments for research services must be made strictly through authorised banking channels (such as official payment gateways, bank transfers, NEFT or RTGS, or the official UPI handle harish.ra@validhdfc) linked to the official business account of the Research Analyst. Cash payments are strictly prohibited.

In the rare event of a technical duplication, erroneous double payment, or transaction failure resulting in an incorrect debit, clients are advised to notify us immediately with valid transaction proofs. Verified duplicate payments will be refunded through the original mode of payment within 7 to 10 working days after internal verification.

3.5 Policy amendments

S Harish Chandan reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time to align with evolving regulatory frameworks or business requirements. Any changes will be updated and posted directly on our official website.

4. Client information, KYC, and onboarding

Clients are required to provide complete, accurate, and authentic details as mandated by SEBI. The RA shall collect, store, and verify KYC records through a SEBI-registered KYC Registration Agency (KRA). Service activation is contingent upon successful KYC completion and execution of the mandatory research service agreement.

6. Intellectual property and usage restrictions

All research reports, analytical models, content, graphics, and data layouts published on raharishchandan.com are the exclusive intellectual property of S Harish Chandan. Unauthorised redistribution, copying, modification, or commercial exploitation of research outputs without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
